Bernice is probably one of the few people who will be happy if someone brings her homework to the hospital…

This arc occurred back in 1992, three years before I was aware of the Strip. But I have to remember it. The time Luann saved someone’s life. Her stock with Me just went up considerably.

Saving a life, changing a tire, handling young kids, singing and dancing in a musical. There’s little Luann can’t do.

Which is a shame that much later, Delta and Bernice took a road trip without Luann and pretty much bad mouthed her the whole time.

Shame on Delta. And shame on Bernice.

A fractured skull not that serious? Ah, the naiveite of youth.

I had a concussion when I was a little bit older than these kids. The doctor told me that I shouldn’t read – at all. Well, being bored, I sneaked out and found an old comic book… only to discover that I was absolutely unable to read. I could recognize the letters, but they didn’t make any sense. It scared the SHIT out of me. Don’t give her any homwork; – reading might resultat in a permanent headache.

With friends like these… :D
