In my old high school, I always voted for the kids who got straight A’s.

“Has a clue about what she is doing, and why“

Wait – so has Tiff. She is flirting to get attention. So: “Has a clue about what she is supposed to be doing, and why”

“No.” Because Tiffany will gleefully SABOTAGE whatever effort you make, Bern.

But the amazing part is, you two will be come really good friends many years later.

“Can deliver snarky put-downs without provocation”?

I had perfect attendance until they wouldn’t let me out of the hospital in tenth grade that time.

This means I went to school sick many times. No telling how much school I caused others to miss.

I never liked how Student Council members were picked. It basically boiled down to a popularity contest, or intimidation.

I would not have voted for her just because I’m male. When I was in high school the student council was usually the smart kids that might or might not be considered handsome or pretty but knew what they were doing.
