Smart thinking, Red. Somehow, I don’t think Dad isn’t going to leaf it that way next time.

I run my leaves over with the lawnmower and mulch them. But my dogs do love to jump into leave piles first and start the mulching process.

I saw a feature on the news about a little boy who got off the school bus and went to play with his dog then got lost. Of course, I thought of Red and Rover. Fortunately, a man with a drone that showed heat signatures found him and the dog safely huddled together in a corn field. Then for some reason my TV screen went all blurry.

One leaf at a time will garner Red a bundle if dad doesn’t see him first.
