This is the reason I don’t go to my sister’s place for the holidays.
You can smell the tension when I’m there as they all look, half cringed, waiting for it to drop. And then it does and they all look at me with that look that says, “glad you said it as I’m scared to”.
My first clue was they were all drunk.
If you’re the crazy uncle, that means everyone will be walking on egg shells so you don’t go ballistic!
I just tell people “I look at life from 3 degrees off center. I miss the obvious, and see things everyone else misses.”
What a coincidence! I just has that revelation this year!
