Mildred’s question makes some sense. Weren’t Mildred and Shauna both originally Lottie’s friends, rather than each other’s? Or have I got that switched? Anyway, I’m surprised that we don’t see a bunch of male staffers from the Cormorant hanging around the tea shop.

It is a good question really if those two don’t quite mesh as they do with Charlotte and with each of them with Charlotte.
