Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
At first I thought, âHere is a very literal kid overreacting.â Then I remembered that little Leah has probably seen Elly eat before, so her fears may be entirely realistic.
These strips are interesting to me, because I started reading around when April was a baby. So Iâm seeing a few characters that were later de-emphasized a lot, such as Annie here. I have zero recollection of her ever existing- was she a sacrifice once April took over the strip? I swear sheâs in the comic more than Connie.
Yes, kids are that smart, that young. I mentioned to my grandson(3 years old at the time) that grandchildren were âcrunchy and chewy and tasted good with steak sauce,â It took only 10 seconds for him to declare that âGrandpa wants to eat me!!!!!!â
I just realized this is one of the last times if not THE last time we see Annie and her kids. Which is weird because she has this whole long life story on FBorFW website but isnât really featured in the actual comic.

Children are not the only people who suffer distress by taking figurative comments literally.

How is a four-year-old even able to understand cannibalism, much less even know the definition of it?

Hmm, âcleaning offâ must be another Canadianism. In the US we say âpolishing offâ.
