Has Penny elaborated on how much fun volunteering at the homeless shelter is? Maybe serving on a grand jury? Taking part in 5th of July beach cleanups? The places youâll go!
âSmall, inexpensive theatersâ are few and far between nowadays. The rise of streaming services has killed the âsecond-runâ movie houses. I used to enjoy seeing movies on the big screen for about half price; I just had to wait a few weeks for them to leave the âfirst-runâ theaters. All the second-run theaters I knew 15-20 years ago are long gone. Now our whole family can see a movie on a pay-per-view streaming service for about half the cost of one personâs theater ticket, plus we can sit in our own comfy chairs, make our own popcorn, pause the movie for potty breaks, etc. We only go to a theater to see special runs, like the 14-hour LotR Extended Edition marathon one local movie house did back in January. And that was the last time we were in a theater.

If you get their autographs, they might be worth a lot in a few years.
