Do what some of the ones I worked with did when that occurred. Cooked a cheap little steak (whoever was pilfering food went for the better food) and added some wild mushrooms to “enhance” the experience. Worked, as far as I found out through scuttlebutt later.
Once there was a firefighter shift that kept losing pancake syrup from their station stock to another shift. They only had to substitute motor oil in the bottle one time for it to stop.
I had my lunch thrown out by an enterprising worker bee in another department who decided to clean out the break room fridge without giving any notice first. She was offended that I got angry about it, and also claimed it was my fault because I didn’t write my name on the container. Nothing in the fridge had anyone’s name on it. I got the axe for “failing to control my anger.” Yelling at someone is unconscionable these days.
My wife had to skip lunch one day at work, so didn’t carry another lunch the next day. Then discovered her supervisor had thrown out her lunch from the day before because “It had been in there too long.” So she went and bought lunch in the cafeteria. Aaaaand her supervisor made fun of her for not bringing her own lunch and eating healthier. My wife doesn’t work there any more.

A ghost pepper sandwich should work

I wouldn’t even want to eat my own food after it was in the break room fridge
I know it is cleaned on a regular basis, but over the years who knows who all put what all in there ?

If it’s a sandwich, you can buy baggies that make it look moldy. hahaha
