We wouldn't buy one of your stories if you paid us."<BR><BR> Snoopy reads, "Leave us alone. Drop dead. Get lost."<BR><BR> Snoopy lies on the doghouse and thinks, "Probably a form rejection slip . . ."<BR><BR>

That’s what’s known as a “poor form” rejection slip.

This was adapted into the stage musical “Snoopy!!!” after the song “The Great Writer”. In the show, after saying the punchline, Snoopy declares, “Tomorrow we start on the trilogy!”
