Actually, bears are omnivorous. They even eat berries to fatten up for hibernation in the fall. In 1964 I worked at the Alaska Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair. We had two little black bears in the back and we fed them lettuce, among other things.
For the record, most meat people eat starts from a vegan. Cows, sheep, deer, rabbits etc. I’m thinking we are mowing the biggest link in our food chain once a week.
