No matter our achievements or desires, however, our existence is indifferent to the Cosmos.

SIZE MATTERS

Some planets might result in greater lunacy than others.

If you were the size of Jupiter you could claim to be the gravitationally dominant object in our solar system, which actually wobbles its host star (the point of balance between the sun and Jupiter is a bit outside the surface of the sun.) Of course that solar system is in itself pretty insignificant, the most special thing about it is that in a few million years our descendants MIGHT have managed to colonize the rest of the galaxy.

We do have a purpose and we’re not accidents (sorry of the serious post but some people might get bummed out by a cartoon like this)!

I googled Thomas Nagel. He looks like an older, very depressed version of Nick from “Big Mouth”.
