Happened to me. On a flight from Orange County Airport to LAX with barely enough passengers to outnumber the crew, as we take off we hear the engines rev up, but the plane is not moving. Once the pilot let off the brakes, we took off like a shot and one of the cabin crew said on the PA “It’s OK, it’s just the pilot trying to pull another wheelie.”
