Speed, quickness, drive, initiative, desire, tactical insight need to be learned on the field and very few if any books or drills teach it. But to utilize them successfully you need the basic skills mastered first, and for that books can provide some guidance.

A couple of hours each night with a book on ball handling and juggling techniques would be beneficial.
