That was more like a splitter mixed with a screwball, with a dash of a grounder.

Got to admit – that never happened to Charlie Brown…
It was a cross between a screwball and a changeup. It was a screw-up.
Until you experience it, most people don’t appreciate the difference between throwing while standing on flat ground (not saying the Earth is flat) and from atop the pitcher’s mound. It takes some practice and getting used to.
