Cleats by Bill Hinds for June 04, 2023
Transcript:
Grandpa: Boys, when I would step up to the plate I would go through a routine. First, I would get all lossey-goosey and relax all the hittin' muscles in my body. Then I would step into the box, and give my bat, "Ol' reliable," nice waggle. And as the pitch was delivered, I would take my famous "flamingo" leg lift. Jerome: You want us to do all of that? Grandpa: I don't want you to do any of that. I looked like a fool, and I couldn't hit anything.
