Motorized scooters are legal here (Germany) now – most of them for rent. You have to be at least 14 to use them. Allowed only on bicycle paths or the road if there’s no former, one user per scooter only, you have to be sober enough to be allowed driving a car.
Guess what’s pretty common… And they block sidewalks everywhere parking.

Did I ride? Yep. Can’t figure out how to get my O2 on one now unless it’s a 3 wheeler or has a sidecar. Neither one of those options is appealing.
