Yuck, Elly. You like to walk around with soggy sock? Or are you just gonna go to your room to dispose of it and put on a mismatching sock. Are you saying you were lucky to have the fuzzy socks on so you could wipe the carpet dry without having to fetch paper towel and bend over to pat dry? If so, no difference. You still have to bend over to remove the soggy sock and put on a clean one. I think the sock thing would take more energy and time while patting dry would just take a few seconds.

Farley is just like my cats. Always parking themselves right in my path for me to trip over them.

Nope. Man invented fuzzy slippers. God invented fuzzy peaches.

Don’t trip. Especially when you are pregnant….!

It makes it easier in that situation anyway.

Are you going to change socks?

Eeeewwwww that’s one reason I never walk around in my socks.

I would have my bucket out to clean it up and dry it with the rug cleaner.

Elly, next time when reading remember to look where you are going, the poor dog was very upset.

Here, here. Indeed correct. Just don’t walk much with the soggy sock and in a few minutes it will dry and all will be well with the world.

I’m just glad she didn’t get any hot coffee on Farley.

I so enjoyed drawing these panels. They were simple and clear, no background to speak of….and the story told itself.

Oh, ick! If there’s one thing I cannot stand it is wet socks on my feet. I don’t care if it’s coffee, water or cat pee, it’s all ICK!

Our Black Lab lives in the house, and he is the king of getting in the way. Either that, or as soon as I get settled down to watch TV, he suddenly wants to play! Just gotta love them!

Why not let the dog lick it up … I thought that was the reason you get one.
