I’ve had two instances of having to live with this. The first one of the girls that worked in our avionics dept. You could tell she walked through the hanger a full two hours after she had it was so bad. You could smell it over the smells of Jet A, oils and misc helicopter stuff. The second was at the place I work now. The gal would pour it on. To the point of making folks eyes water. Most just performed a “grin and bear it” mode. One night she came in, it was so bad folks were gagging. I finally told a manager she needed to cut back, or everybody in the area was going to walk out when she came in. She was told, her response was, “Really? I had no idea!”

I used to work for a non-profit. There was a lady who visited every so often who used so much perfume that everyone could tell the minute she came in the building. Unfortunately she was a major donor so no one was willing to risk getting her mad by saying that her perfume use was waaaaaaay to much.
