When in doubt, drink a coffee! -Penguin, probably.

I love the sign, and I love that Cat cries along with the little guy.

I tell my high school students that crying isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s your body trying to take care of itself.

I have become very fond of this strip in a very short period of time.

Squirrel, holding it in isn’t good, it eventually overflows the mask you keep it behind. I know from experience.

Crying is the acceptance of a difficult emotional situation. When the going gets tough, the tough get manic; It’s not getting any better, so enjoy yourself.

I believe this comic is an actual social good – it gives support to such wonderful simple concepts.

Thanks. I just had another emotional meltdown. I was mocked for crying by my own mother in front of my siblings. It took me years to be able to cry without feeling guilt or fear. I just needed a hug from my own mom… or someone </3

I’ve read some stuff about a thing known as “Childhood Emotional Neglect,” and I’m subscribed to get emails about it every week. This week, I got an article talking about how, if one is emotionally neglected as a child, one of the things that’s covertly taught (among many) is that crying is a weakness.

I thought I’d try linking it here in case anyone’s interested. …I also thought I’d try putting it in a reply to this comment, just in case GoComics decides to eat the comment up for having a URL. =D;;;
