Well, one of my pension plans just bit the dust. It was established in 1937 by and for the teachers of my county because the state didn’t have one. It paid out $50 a month to retirees, a respectable amount during the depression. However, it was mismanaged and is going bust.

LOVE Chesney Claus!

Saw a flock of smallish black birds flying as in a black cloud a few days ago. On another note, I might have slipped down front outside steps this morning due to frozen residue left over from state of emergency (ha) snow storm. Lastly, at least neighbor keeps his cat indoors (24/7) as she wandered quite far away a few weeks ago. The birds can feed without fear at my front lawn feeders. . . . . . . I think Chesney is overdue for an intervention!!!!!

Is he channeling the Grinch (which happens to be on TV right now)?

If you’re bad, Chesney Claus leaves hairballs in your stocking! If you’re good, he just raids your refrigerator and goes away. (This IS Chesney we’re talking about, after all.) On another note, saw a robin and a varied thrush while out walking today.
