Not actually so far-fetched. A few years ago our organization submitted a decorated tree to a fundraising activity. One of the other entries was a “Twilight” tree. Ornaments in black and lights in red and dark purple…:-/
A merger, Halloxmas. It could catch on! The Christians would love that.

It is, I think, reassuring to see Death celebrating Christmas. And his tree and other decorations are terrific!
