Are Guaturro and his fellow pupils seem to be learning about the accented stress of certain words? Yo no entendĂ ni un poquito.

In Spanish, when the stressed syllable is the penultimate, the word is called “llana” or “grave”. So the teacher is implying that G is serious, grave. And when the word has its stressed syllable the third to the last is called “esdrújula”, and when is on the last syllable “aguda”

GATURRO: Si, Grave, Gaturro. Thanks for the illumination, Templo & michaelwazowski.

REX MORGAN: Panel 1: A “Shirttail Relative”? That’s a new one on me. One source defines the term as a distant relative, or a relative by marriage, or an honorary relative. Panel 2: lol.

MARY WORTH: This story arc needs to shift gears and move forward in one direction or another. IMHO.

MANDRAKE: Is the appearance of “Reboot” a new story? Or a reprise of an old story? In other words, is “Reboot,” a reboot?
