Ah, Nyquil…actually knocked you out, you got sleep. ( and a hangover)

I used to only take the old Nyquil while in bed (or on the couch). Out like a light for hours. No idea if it was actually effective treating the ailment, but the temporary reprieve was welcome.

My mom’s cure: A cup of hot water, a shot of whisky and some lemon juice.

I miss the old Nyquil before they “reformulated” it. As a kid, when my throat was messed, up my mom gave me a teaspoon of whiskey. I like to think I was a sickly child.
