Actually, when I was an exchange student to England (U.K.), in March 1980, the first two weeks we had weather coming from Siberia, so temps were in the teens when my host family took me to London. I saw a street vendor selling ice cream. I wanted sooo badly to ask them to stop so I could get some but thought better because I didn’t want them to think I was a crazy American, as Americans were stereotyped. The things one does for their country/countrymen. Go U.S.A.!

Why not? Because you’re there to taunt

About that…I’ve always had issues with things advertised as “ice cold”; especially watermelons!

I can enjoy ice cream even when it’s snowing. Root beer not so much.

Ah, the vestiges of summer. A cruel taunt.
