    In ancient times freckles were viewed as a disease. After all many diseases start with red marks on the face and body. In those times there was no cure for any disease and could and did many times, wipe out the entire tribe. So those with freckles and red hair (another bad sign) were banished to the wilderness. The good news is they formed their own tribe called the Irish. So according to legend the Irish got their language because the gods wanted to separate them from the other people in Babylon. The freckles are a map of the universe to remind Irish people of the stars and the heavens.

    Okay, so, here’s the quiz for today… other than being a comic strip (nope…not overthinking it… it’s just amusing!), how is he crossing his eyes severely enough that he can actually see the freckles on his face without a mirror?
