just noticed the fuzzy slippers on his feet…got to be comfortable when doing all that drawing!

Mr. Myers is 81 and, as of this coming April, will have been doing Broom-Hilda for half a century. Quite an impressive achievement. More power to him…although if he wanted to take a break now and then, I couldn’t fault him.

The real truth for most creative people is that creating is one of our greatest happinesses. It’s also pretty dang addictive. When the happiness is drained away and the finances just aren’t there to keep us moving forward, we stop.
