I wonder with whom Snoopy actually lives with at this stage?

It looks like Snoopy is Violet’s pup, but in later years, he’s Charlie Brown’s.

A few strips ago he was shown as living in Charlie Brown’s house (“I’m the boss here”) but before that he almost appeared to be Patty or Shermy’s dog, since he was seen more with them.

Then again… Snoopy did always wander, and referred to him as the ‘round headed kid’ except at supper time :-)

He’s his own dog…except at meal time.

Snoopy here appears to belong to Patty, even tho he belongs to Charlie Brown. This reminds me of how my niece once owned a beagle that showed her great love, but that beagle also showed the same great love to everyone else in the household. My niece felt bad that her dog didn’t show special attachment exclusively to herself. I explained to her that beagles are not loyal to one person like many other breeds are. Beagles are a pack breed. They are wired to be loyal to everyone in the group. My niece felt better after learning that.

Snoopy is not a coat hanger!

I like this Snoopy look better than his later design.

Drop the coat Snoopy. That’ll teach him not to use you as a coat rack.

I don’t think Snoopy’s too fond of being used as a coat hook…

Snoopy will get revenge, Charlie Brown.

This reminds me the early Garfield strips, where the original owner of Odie was a Jon’s friend called Lyman, who was gradually disappearing from the strip.

This came out on my birthday. The strip has come a long way sense then.
