And thus, Earth is saved from yet another alien invasion.

Like Rain man crossing the street.

I guess the green beings transported into a quiet neighborhood where there are no cars/people to observe.

I hate getting stuck behind them in traffic.

There are a lot of those signs around here.

Obedient aliens – just what the earth needs.

There are often problems with taking things too literally.

Stop what?

Um. Yes. I’ve found myself waiting for the stop sign to turn green.

I remember a drawn picture of a robot in front of a STOP sign with indications it had obeyed the order for a very long time. Rust or cobwebs, that kind of thing.

Interestingly, this is an alien stop sign on an alien planet— in English.

No stop sign on Earth is black with a red border. That might be the one thing every country in the world has agreed upon.

I’ve waited at a stop sign for it to change… I had to run it!

I put a ‘Stop’ sign on the refrigerator door. Worked miracles.

Try shakin’ it, see if that works.

And don’t even get me started on those blinking red lights…

Funny!

I read that when the US started to occupy Japan, in 1945, they put up stop signs and this is what happened. The obedient Japanese drivers would see the sign, stop, and wait for something to countermand it.
