Cut hair longer…
A trick I’ve always wanted to be able to do, as a hairstylist.

Maybe a coupon in the mail led a client to some chain place for what turned out to be a hair massacre,
or she rough-cut her own bangs with desk scissors, lopsidedly, and way too short in the “corners”, i.e. at the temples.
Or maybe her 5 year old cut his little sister’s hair a quarter inch long on top….

You’d be amazed at how many people say “Just cut it so the short part doesn’t show, OK?”

About the time I was four years old my little brother got his first haircut. I decided to cut my own hair, got a pair of scissors, and hacked away. Fortunately my mom caught me in time to get a nice short “bowl” cut at the beauty shop instead of a buzz cut! My hair has veered from rather long to rather short ever since…
