Grandparents’ advice isn’t always appreciated by the parents.

Teens of the ’50s and ’60s appreciated the spacious back seat of their folks GMC automobiles. The fold down rear of a Pontiac Safari station wagon was as roomy as a double bed.

A lot of us got our sex ed that way.

Didn’t have to be the back seat. Back then the front seat was normally a bench seat and the gear shift was on the dashboard or steering column.
