When I was in just out of college, I worked at a greenhouse/nursery. The company went all out in November and December, converting their garden center into a Winter Wonderland. Not only did they sell house plants, but cut and live Christmas trees, garland and holly boughs, plus all manner of holiday decorations and gifts for gardeners. I still remember spray-painting and flocking tree branches that would be festooned with mini lights & glass ornaments and hung from the ceiling.
