This is what you call a “short horror story”. I remember reading a similar one years ago, something like “I woke in the dark and reached for a match, and one was placed in my hand”.

It was that evil cat up the street. It wanted to eat you.

Now that is frightening and could actually happen. Now if the one who gets in your bed is invisible is another layer of fear.

Also she could have had a bedroom invader. A kind of manifestation that may have a connexion to abductions. She needs to check her body for unusual injuries. Instead of going with the “fairies” they come to you and can follow you around too. Author, occult investigator, reporter John A. Keel concluded that up to one-third of the population have this happening to them. Most of whom never talk about it.

Shakespeare was correct when he had Hamlet say, _"…here are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,Than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Hamlet Act 1, scene 5, 166-167

One night when I was in high school, after a double date, my best friend came to spend the night. I had an adjoining dressing room that was closed off with sliding doors, which were closed. We went right to sleep. The next morning, the doors were open, as was my bedroom door, which had been closed. I’ve often thought what might have happened if she hadn’t been in the other bed. Hadn’t thought about that in years. I hope I don’t have bad dreams tonite.
