He saved his failure from being an abject failure. Way to go, Monty!

Smooth – everyone walks into the post office to ask the “date?” Right?

Sometimes women find extreme awkward shyness to be endearing, and they fall in love with the man. He usually has to have some other qualities to back that up though, and in that case Monty is probably sunk.

She looks too hacked off all the time, I would rather someone who had a smile on their face more often.

Just as well, Monty! It was all she could do to hold herself back from pouncing on you & ravishing you on the spot! (Bwhahaha)

That doesn’t look like an eagle on her nametag. A squirrel, maybe.

“The end” is just what you achieved in your postal fling, Monty.

I guess your new crush on this postal worker means that Dehlia has joined Gretchen on the scrapheap of romantic history….

Every time I ask people the date they never tell me what year it is. That’s the really crucial information and the only reason I ask the date. Unless of course I’m in a month and year when the local calendar switched from the Julian to the Gregorian. That’s really the only time I need to know the day, month and year.

She starts to feel something for him. I don’t understand if disgust or annoyance.
