I think that is the joke – the speaker knows only one or two paintings from one Vermeer period. Who knew a tour would add to your knowledge about a subject? :) On the other hand, it could be a comment on people who go on a modern tour hoping to see 17th century scenes (especially in densely populated, ever-changing Europe).
It is the Vermeer tour. You have to go in the building to see the history of horizontal drills. Although the stump grinding displays are usually outside.
