Principles do not get you anything.

I think there’s a bill in the Senate to make principles illegal.

My wife and I do not celebrate or recognize this dumb “holiday” and it’s her idea to ignore it, not mine. Can I pick ’em, or what?! :)

Is one of your principles to be lonely?

If all it takes is a box of candy and a card to get lucky, BUY THEM!

I’m boycotting Valentines Day! …’course it’s easier when one doesn’t have a valentine.

Do your principles endow you with thumbs?

If you only think about romance because greeting card companies, jewelers, and florists tell you to, big hint: you’re doing it wrong, sucker.

Those poor ants. Each missing four appendages.

My wife of 41 years absolutely hates Valentines day. Absolutely to commercial in her opinion. But then she hates mothers day and Halloween as well. Not sure about how she feels about me. ;)

OK, instead of doing lunch for Valentine’s Day, do lunch because it is Friday. TGIF

So then it’s romantic dinners all the other days.

You may hate Valentines day but do not let that stop you from saying I Love You.

Oh, you can have principles AND romance…just not the scripted-romance-by-numbers kind.

Cadbury Creme Eggs got so small, this year I didn’t even consider going out in the cold.

But I do know of a great picnic taking place in yonder meadow which might need our attention…
