Marcus: Hey! Here's a picture with Petey in it. Alice: Yes, Petey is one of Blisshaven's pre-Alicians. Marcus: But it's only half of Petey! Alice: He always tries to duck when someone takes his picture. Even when he was a baby. My dad says Petey rolled right out of his bassinet whenever he saw a camera. So there aren't any good baby pictures of him. Marcus: Lucky.

I can’t wait to see the photographic anthropologists sifting through the Pre-Alician period for pre-K treasure. But where will it end? Do they go past the Pre-Peteyan period? Or even Pre-Madelinian???

We took so many pictures of our first born that by the time he was 3 his smile started looking quite scary.
