Opal should put Earl in charge of vacuum cleaner duty.

if I recall from toy history, Frisbee was a pie-baking company… so eating popcorn (or anything else) from a pie tin seems appropriate… as for throwing the tin into the kitchen from where you’re at, I wouldn’t think so as you might knock something off the counter or table

Dang, why didn’t I think of that! Although I can’t say that I haven’t used a frisbee as a plate before. I just didn’t think of the convenience of a quick flight into the kitchen sink versus a walk. So novel!

Wonder how long before he realizes he can keep his fingers butter-free by eating the popcorn with chopsticks.

Necessity may be the mother invention, but it looks like Earl is the father of a new style of eating!

I have a feeling that once Opal realizes this, the frisbee won’t be the only thing flung around the house.

Common among backpackers; for the weight of one light item, you get both a utensil that serves as plate and bowl, and as after-dinner entertainment.

If you toss it towards the kitchen, won’t the dog jump up and catch it?

I thought that Frisbee’s was an Ice Cream shop just off the Yale campus. I remember visiting my sister (who went to Yale for her undergrad) and her explaining that that shop would scoop ice cream onto the plastic disks. I don’t know for sure if they started the craze or not.

Old south side Milwaukeeans add a little English on it so it will bend the corner around.

When I was in Scouts, I always used a Frisbee as a plate. 2 items in one!
