a true scout: being prepared
Sounds like a good enough reason to me.
Better safe than sorry, right, Snoopy ?
I’ll go along with that reason.
Sleeping a lot allows me to ignore vinegar tongued bullies like you, Lucy! ;P
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow.
You’ll miss most of it because your body is too flabby to take much activity.
My life, and welcome to it.
Why does he need so much rest? Because he uses so much energy pretending to be the World War 1 flying ace, Joe Cool, The World Famous Attorney, etc….
Don’t let Snoopy deceive you … he’s storing up energy so that he can run away from ‘bunny-wunnies’ and the cat next door.
you can never be too prepared- in fact i think i will take a nap
Because he’s a spor star, vulture, helicopter, easter beagle, clerk, writer… amd I forgetting something?
Forty seven years later and still revelant, especially in these uncertain times.
If he was a cat, this would be normal.

Dog, cat, and kids need lots more sleep. We seniors do it because we have nothing better to do.
Tomorrow never comes, or that’s what they say, Snoopy.
My roommate is envious of me sleeping 12 hours straight through the night. And then I need to lie down every 1/2 hour or so. It makes it very difficult to get anything done. But I look at it like Snoopy does: prep for a better tomorrow.
