Right or wrong, my wife won’t buy GS cookies from anyone who is not a real girlscout in uniform – this means she won’t buy them from the mothers who are selling them from a cardboard table outside of the grocery store. Since the girls get credit for their sales, she thinks it is sending the wrong message to the girls who have their parents selling the cookies, and works against the real girlscouts who are out and about on their own.
