I painted a glow in the dark spiral on my ceiling at college. You could only see it at night unless you knew it was there. People thought I was weird…..nothing new ;-)
I used to have glowing stars stuck on my bathroom ceiling. In the middle of the night I would turn the light on for a second with my eyes closed, then I could see by starlight to do my business. Really cool was the light, being a fluorescent globe, it also glowed like a full moon for half a minute.
When I was a kid, one of the neighbors had a starry bathroom. Some kind of transparent glow-in-the dark paint was splattered randomly on the walls and ceiling, making it look awesome in the dark. Unfortunately, I was only about 3-4 years old, so I have no idea what the stuff was or how it got there.
