National Proofreading Day. So I better proofread this carefully before I hit the “comment” button.

Daylight Saving Time Begins. Not everywhere, but at least in the United States, and I don’t think it’s in every state. I know a lot of people hate it, but I LOVE daylight saving time because I like that extra hour of daylight in the evening. But it means I’ll lose an hour of sleep tonight – and I have to be up early in the morning for work so I can’t make it up by sleeping late. But I did a lot of work cleaning my porch, doing laundry and all sorts of stuff Saturday, so I’m extremely tired and hopefully that means I’ll be able to fall asleep quickly when I go to bed (which I’ll be doing in the next few minutes).

On another note, (as tad says), one bit of yard cleaning I never did last fall is that I never pulled down the dead morning glory vines that grew up my fence and then up the neighboring building (the telephone company, which is just a few inches from my property line). Yesterday, while cleaning my porch, I saw a pair of mourning doves had built their nest on a ledge that goes under the roof line of the phone company. They built their nest right behind those dead vines using the dead morning glory vines to hide their nest. Funny – mourning doves in the morning glories! Ha ha. Anyway, now I have to leave the dead vines there to protect the birds.

I’m late posting. And now it’s really late! I hate Daylight Saving Time. I don’t see well after dark anymore, so in the wintertime I have to be home by 4 when it gets dark, down here in Vegas it’ll be 5, just the same I’d like a bit of extra time.My SIL and were up talking so instead of being an hour late posting I’m 2 hours late.

Stop messing with the time people!!!!

All the clocks, some are so old that some disassembly is needed because the buttons don’t work right.

At least now because the DVR has made the VCRs obsolete I don’t care what time they show.

Annie is just cute as a bug! I sure would like a subscription to this magazine!

I always love the Warehouse Magazine! Not sure I would want to read all about Oliver’s hairballs and hacking, though.

It would be cool if Warehouse Magazine actually existed. That look like it would be fun to read. (Even though Chesney’s articles about Annie are somewhat biased.) On another note, saw a barred owl outside. I also saw a wren while out walking today.
