I pay my credit card bills in full every month, but I still got a notice a few weeks ago that the interest rate on my credit card was going up. I love how the banks, pre crisis, were paying about 2% interest, and charging roughly 20 % and they were increasing what they were charging. Given present rates it’s even worse now.
And here we see the most cunning preator of all stalking it’s unsuspecting prey. The commercial bank may look slow at first glance, but can move with lightning speed when it senses a new target. Once the unsuspecting victim hears “What’s in your wallet?” it’s already too late.
