Either she’s never thought of it as a monster . . . or it’s really not supposed to be there on the island!

What happens when she knocks and no one’s there to answer?

Guessing the monster’s not a monster and just…native to the island. She’ll probably tell Harry it’s harmless or something.

…Unless this is really the first she’s hearing of it too… :O

Also, another flaw in their plan—they don’t know it, but Harry’s witch isn’t currently in Widdershins, so…y’know…kinda makes it hard for him to open a door he’s not actually at.

Let me guess: the American is after the “monster”.

Don’t leave too soon, Harry, I love Nyree. I want to know more about her

The other witches were not nearby during O’Malley’s battle with the Sins, and yet the doors were opened, enabling Harry to go through. And let’s not forget someone had to go through one of the doors to deliver that package containing the blue scarf that O’Malley has been wearing ever since.

I’m thinking Nyree, who is a more experienced witch than O’Malley, should not have a problem… except maybe for whatever that creature is.

Nyree’s facial expression in Panel Six reminds me of Lay Lines…

What if the monster is a spirit that slipped through the doors during that last adventure? Not one of the sins, of course, but a smaller (though still quite dangerous) being?

Well, I thought she herself might be the monster, result of a big misunderstanding.
