As a child of the 50’s we had 4 channels, ABC, CBS, NBC and an independent. If there wasn’t anything on it to watch we turned it off and went outside to play. Today’s cable has over 250 channels and there’s not much more to watch than when we had 4. I still turn the set off but now I go outside and set on the porch and relax.

It’s a rare condition this day and age to read any good news on the newspaper page, or in this case see any good news on TV.

Cable tv. Hundreds of channels, but nothing worth watching. Speaking just for myself. My wife can always find something to watch.
