I taught my dachshunds something to keep them away from the front door. If there was a knock at the front door, or the door bell rang, they would run to it barking and then go into the entry way bathroom. I shut the bathroom door and then answered who ever was at the door knowing the dogs could not get out and run away. When the person left, I opened the bathroom door and gave the dogs treats. They know that if someone is at the door and they go into the bathroom, they will always get treats.

But what if it was the Easter Beagle instead?

After all, in German “dachshund” means “badger hound”, not “bunny hound”.

One of the few times you see Wally with such a savage look on his face!

Why is Wally waiting by the fireplace? It’s not Christmas!

You may not like what the Easter Badger hides around the house.
