Very interesting and I learned something new

Back in the day, we had a Beagle-Basset mix. Referred to him as a “Bagel”

Thus the basset horn, a “rather low” pitched clarinet.

Weren’t they also the mascot for Hush Puppies shoes? Anyway, Fred, you don’t have to tell us that your breed is friendly, outgoing and playful; you prove that every day. As for “extremely vocal,” you “talk” more than any dog I know, and I thoroughly enjoy our daily chats.
