How do you remove hinge screws on a closed door? “Remove the hinge pins?” Sure. But not the screws.
Not to mention, most outside doors open inward. So even once the pins are removed, the door wouldn’t go outwards due to the door jamb. And to top it all off, the door knob was on the left side (from the outside view) when he got shut out. Now it’s on the right side.
