Or just hit the “any key”, assuming you have one of those.

Yours had a handle? I’ll bet it had paper, too.

I wrote a lot of user interface code, I would occasionally put in something like “things no one knows” for the beta testers to verify!

I was amazed how many let it pass!

Things No One Knows is always in the Network menu. I was able to retire early because I knew those things.

Not sure how much of these comments I actually believe. I think they belong in “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not”

We got a little Tandy computer and a printer in 1986. Looked at the Apple version, but it cost almost $1000 more. I wanted to just buy a typewriter, but husband insisted we needed a computer, then he never touched it. The operating system was DOS and it came with an instruction book, that said how to turn it on, and what to type in to get it to do something. I didn’t have a job at that time and had all day to fiddle with the thing. I eventually came up with my own version of an autoexec.bat file (of which I was very proud) and got its’ little program to print out some “documents”. I am still our IT person, but have to admit I don’t have much of a clue with Windows, other than the all-purpose reboot.

Was a computer help desk agent for Microsoft Windows 95 – trained by MS to help the callers – very intensive training but we could fix almost every problem presented – the problem with that job was the family designated me their personal IT guy…

I would think that “juggling” the handle would require taking the toilet apart…
