This is one of the very best Peanuts strips I have ever read, and I have read many (most of them excellent, if not extraordinary). Great Art and Pure Genius! I bow down before It!

This is a classic. A friend and I use CB’s final line when we encounter our ignorance of various things.

This strip was adapted for the opening scene in the film “A Boy Named Charlie Brown” as well as an entire musical number for the show “Snoopy!!!”

Today, July 25th, 2023, is Thomas Eakins’ 179th birthday. The only reason I know of his existence is via this comic strip.

This is one of my two favorite PEANUTS strips. The other is where Linus (not Charlie Brown?!) tells Snoopy that he hasn’t a care in the world, and Snoopy thinks “I wonder where my next meal is coming from.” Both strips are extremely profound.
