yeah, it — pandemic prank — could be anywhere when you least expect it

I didn’t find this one funny or even cute and usually I find Lio to be one or both of those.

I’m reluctant to admit this… but I’m very slowly going right off Mark Tatulli… :-(

Don’t blame Lio “Call me Hugh Hefner Junior” for these mean practical jokes1 It’s that darn TV station that published the activities book….

As an essential worker I dont find this funny at all

In a word “Insensitive”.

Half of the other strips I read use the present pandemic as a subject for their jokes, yet this is the only comic that keeps getting ¨It’s too soon!¨ comments. If this mildly dark humor upsets you, stick to classic ¨Peanuts¨.

Well, I’m going to let Lio be Lio but I’m sympathetic to those who’ve had a loss.

I like Lio but I like his coronavirus jokes

We all have different responses on how we deal with crises like COVID-19, also 9-11, personal impacts or losses, etc. Tatulli’s obviously ‘whistling past the graveyard’ via Lio right now. And that’s okay, even if you don’t like his response.

This isn’t really funny thousands of people are dying.

Lets see Mr Tatulli make some more yuk yuks when a close friend or family member of his catches it.

As someone who reads Tatulli’s other comic, Heart of the City, it is obvious to me that Tatulli is taking the virus threat quite seriously. I think this one is a clumsy attempt at more of a social message on the dangers of going out than trying to be funny. My daughter is an essential worker like the postman and I worry about her a lot.

This wasn’t funny.

Two thoughts: 1 – he could be trying to tell us that the virus is everywhere. 2 – he lives near Utica, went to school there or a girl from Utica broke his heart.

If you can laugh in the face of danger, you have the strength to overcome it.

If all you see is despair, it will overwhelm you.

The father and gardener are not wearing personal protective equipment.

The point is heavy handed, STAY HOME IT IS EVERYWHERE!!!!

Interesting. More people will die from both car crashes and obesity-related diseases this year than from Coronavirus, yet no one is castigating Beetle Bailey which features both.

Lio! Dont do that. This strip is funny though.
